At our Excelprep

we provide a safe and nurturing environment where learn and grow

We believe that every individual has a unique way of learning. We embrace diversity in thinking, understanding, and expression. Whether a learner is visual, auditory, hands-on, or somewhere in between, we create a space where they feel seen and supported. Our mission is to nurture potential by adapting to each mind’s strengths and needs. We remove barriers and build confidence through personalized, inclusive learning strategies. No one is left behind — every journey matters here. Curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and growth is constant. We value differences because they make our community stronger. Learning isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it shouldn’t be. That’s why at All Kinds of Minds, everyone belongs, and everyone thrives.

reach their full potential

using Behavior Science to provide better outcomes for learners.

The philosophy of your child’s learning success depends on instruction, the analysis of progress, and the adjustment of teaching prompts and support. We believe that the time your child is available for instruction should not be wasted. We honor this by taking the time to understand your child by listening to them, observing how they demonstrate knowledge, and shifting how we teach to meet their needs. This is important for student-teacher connections within academic instruction. We believe in using technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning. We believe that independent thinkers are created when children are given information and instruction. The child is then better able to demonstrate understanding and experience success.

Core program for ages 5-13

K-2 Program

Our K-2 program begins at age 5. We start with assessments to understand your child’s needs. Learners change classes based upon their reading, writing, and math ability. Critical Thinking and Organization are considered core instruction as they impact academic and social success. Instructional Design means that our leaners are learning because, at Excel Prep, curriculum is just the starting line.

Grades 3-5

Not quite elementary. Not quite midddle school. We focus on core skills to get our learners closer to grade level and even above. We recognize this critical time needs social development and academic instruction in core areas such as reading, writing, and math. 90 minutes per day is our formula. Many in this program may still require some ABA Therapy to firm up various skill areas. Organization, study skills, note-taking are taught in this grade group. Teaching kids how to learn removes the barrier that exists to actual learning…we teach that too.

Grades 6-8

Middle School focuses on academic learning and addressing learning barriers. The model is to support communication independence, social negotiation, and executive functioning skills including organization. Academic content includes written expression, mathematic computation and problem solving, reading fluency and comprehension. Science and social studies are addressed through the core instructional content of math, reading, and writing.
